Description
Green Tea. Japan and China. 3g / 2 tsp per 250 ml of water 80ºC 3 – 4 mins This is a moreish savoury tea which would work very well with Oriental food, particularly dim sum or wanton. The popped toasted rice along with the steamed green tea result in a savoury, nutty smooth liquor with a gentle finish. Roasted nuts and pop corn, vegetal. Orignally from Japan, Genmatcha traces it’s humble origins to a time when rice was added to green tea to provide nourishment during the colder months. Our version also contains matcha, which gives a caffeine boost along with subtle herby notes.
